Miss Sarah started her musical career at the tender age of four in a local talent show. She performed “Part of Your World” from the Disney movie, The Little Mermaid. She has been involved with music from that moment on. At the age of seven, she started taking private piano lessons, and has continued her study of piano for over 30 years. Through her years of study, Miss Sarah enjoyed competing in different competitions such as Solo and Ensemble, Guild, and Scale Olympics.She earned the highest awards possible at each event she participated in. Miss Sarah was also a featured pianist in Ohio’s Pianorama, playing “Little Sunshine.” Miss Sarah graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho. While in college, Miss Sarah continued to study music vocally as well as adding the organ to the list of instruments she plays. In July 2019, Ms. Sarah had the opportunity to perform in the world renowned Carnegie Hall. This was an amazing experience she will treasure throughout her musical career.
Currently, Miss Sarah lives in Princeton, TX with her husband and their six children. She sings with the Dallas Millennial Choirs and Orchestra.She also accompanies for various groups around the DFW area. Miss Sarah holds music camps, and works with private preschools, keeping the arts alive and thriving in schools.
While Miss Sarah has a deep love for playing different instruments, singing and playing the piano have always held the top spot in her musical heart. That is why, in 2013, Miss Sarah started sharing her love of music through teaching piano and voice lessons. Miss Sarah loves helping students grow in their gifts and talents. She also loves helping students create their own love of music that will last a lifetime!
